Family: Parents are prominent members of Cloudsdale and are descended from a noble family, but he doesn't associate with the rest of his family and is even considered an outcast.

Residence: Lives in Canterlot but comes from Cloudsdale.

Eye Colour: Dark Blue
Mane/Tail: Long and straight silver mane and tail, because he is boring.
Cutie Mark: 4 stars in a compass rose. He got it when he was very young one night when he got lost and followed the north star home. Even though he has had it for so long and still loves the stars, he doesn't know what to do with himself.
Defining Features: Other than being rather tall, he doesn't have any special marks.
Accessories: Other than his saddle bags when making deliveries, Dusk typically goes without anything special except for cyan cuff on his right front hoof.
Likes: Darkness, the cold, peace(in a tranquility sense)
Dislikes: Heat, bright lights, loud noises
Personality: Dusk is a quiet stoic pony that has difficulty socializing. It isn't that he doesn't enjoy the company of others, simply that he never cared for talking to large groups.
Occupation: Delivery pegasus. Not everyday mail, but special longer distance deliveries(Mostly overnight delivery)
History: Originally born in Cloudsdale, Dusk spent his foalhood staring up to the stars, entranced by their beauty and mystery. The elevation of his home city only seemed to bring the stars closer to him. His cutie mark wasn't a surprise when it came about. Even with his cutie mark though, he didn't feel like he had found what to do with his life. He understood his passion for the stars, but what could he do with that? He did study as an astronomer for a short time, but quickly dropped it when he realized he already knew most of what they tried to teach. After that he found it difficult to become motivated about much of anything.
Eventually he moved away from his hometown to Canterlot. If he couldn't do anything with the stars he could, at the least, see if he could work for the Princess, who ushered them in each night. He worked as a royal guard for some years and even had the honor of being one of Luna's chariot pegasai at one point. As much as he enjoyed working so close to the Princess as he had, it still left him feeling incomplete and he took an early retirement.
He now only delivers mail as a means to rid him of boredom, bits not being an issue on his retirement pay, as he tries to find what is missing in his life.
